About Blijewell

The word Blije means joy in Dutch. Blijewell is a nod to my mother, who was from the Netherlands and who always brought joy to those around her, and had a real gift for everyday joy.

A bike ride. The first warm day of spring. A cold snap that meant the canals would freeze over for skating. That was simply how she lived.

I built Blijewell to carry her spirit forward, an app made to bring you a little joy and wonder every day.

Your complete Oura companion

Blijewell brings in the rest of your world to dive deeper into your personal schedule and wellness journey, bringing you custom insights built only for you. Designed first, and strictly, as a companion to your Oura Ring, with more connectors down the road.

A few of the things it adds:

The weather. Pressure, cold, and light move through your body all day. Blijewell links a pressure drop to the morning your energy dips, so it makes sense instead of catching you off guard.

Your calendar. Blijewell looks at your day ahead and gives you a friendly nudge in time: you've got Pilates at noon, so make sure you get enough protein this morning.

Your own notes. You know things about yourself worth tracking. Add them, and Blijewell weaves them in.

Together, your Oura Ring and Blijewell give your wellness journey memory and persistence: your body's signals, the weather, and your calendar, woven into a complete wellness snapshot.

What I believe

Blijewell is about wellness. It's not a medical tool, so for anything medical, please see your doctor.

Joy is the whole point, and I keep it honest. It all comes back to your real data and your real days.

Blijewell speaks in plain language, the way a friend would, so your day always feels calm and clear.

Blijewell is still growing

This is early days, and I love that. I add new features all the time, usually because someone suggested a new feature that would be helpful to them.

So if you have an idea, or something's bugging you, or there's a pattern you wish you could see, tell me. Your input shapes what I build next.

I'm really glad you're here.
